Belt Sizing Guide

Belt sizing guide

IMPORTANT: Belt size IS NOT the same as trouser size!

There are 3 main ways to measure for a belt. If your measurement falls in between whole numbers, round up to the nearest whole number.

Method 1: Measure an old belt. The best way to find your true belt size, is to measure an old belt with a flexible measuring tape. Measure from where the prong meets the buckle, (inside edge, as shown in the above diagram) down to the hole that fits you most comfortably. This size is your true belt size, which will be the center hole of your new belt.

Method 2: Measure through belt loops. If you don't have a belt to measure, you can thread a flexible tape through the belts loops of your trousers. Pull the tape together until it is comfortable and how you think you would like your new belt to sit. Take note of the measurement and use this when ordering your belt.

Method 3: Trouser size + 4. The last method is only used if no other means are achievable, as it is the least accurate. Take your trouser size in inches and add 4 inches to this size. E.g. 32"+4" = 36" belt size. This will be roughly your true size but may result in having to wear your belt using the holes ether side of center.
