The Work
Hunterwood Leather is a small, one man workshop based in New Zealand. I make leather goods using traditional methods, working from the philosophy of buy once, by well - a principle passed down to me by my father.
I make pieces designed to be worn and used every day. Simple and functional, with nothing extra.
Built to wear over time, collect marks, to reflect a life lived.
Each piece is cut, shaped, stitched and finished by hand using quality leathers chosen for strength and longevity. The goal is to make leather goods that age well, wear in, and earn their place.
Everything I make reflects that approach. No fuss. No nonsense.
